No, Halo:Recon is the new expansion disc for Halo 3's campaign.
In Halo:Recon you play as an ODST set in New Mombasa during the events between Halo 2 and Halo 3.
Halo:Chronicles is a interactive movie for the Xbox 360.
Really Halo:Chronicles is like, as I suspected, one of those cheap-arsed games they give you on a dvd along with a movie.

It will be an expansion disc...unless Bungie change their mind.
So most likely they will charge us for it, yet another way we are being ripped off by Bungie and Microsoft.
As you may have guessed, since you will be playing as a ODST, there will be no energy shields.
So Halo might actually be tactical for a change instead of run and gun.

I think Halo:Chronicles will be like Final Destination 3 where you make a choice and your fate is changed based on the choice, only with many more choices to make and probably many more that lead to death and a restart lol. Could be alot of fun if its done right, or could be a mega-flop. Either way this type of game shouldn't cost more than a standard dvd so if they want more than $20 for it, they can kiss my fat hairy ass.
